Projects
This group project proposal that I completed my senior year of college was intended to present a proposal to an industry, focusing primarily on the communication practices that occur at the business. The proposal was completed with three of my classmates and we then took this proposal and created a plan to implement it, which will be featured below.
Once my group and I completed the initial proposal, we then constructed a plan of our project. This plan consisted of an outline of what tasks we intended on completing throughout the project. Each task was labeled with a group member(s) and when the task would be completed. This project plan then led directly into our presentation of the entire project.
Once the project proposal was completed, my group accumulated as much research as possible and then created a presentation to showcase the information we found. This presentation was intended to show the data from the research we conducted and then provide the audience with proper plans that my group intended to go forward with.
Going along with the Project Proposal and the Project Plan, individually I then completed a recommendation report. This report was meant to provide the reader with my own personal recommendation for creating better communication practices at their business. This report was the last of the three assignments together and completed my Bussiness and Professional Writing course.
A group of me and 2 other students in my Rhetoric and Multimodal Authoring course were tasked with creating a page on a class website dedicated to a true crime case. Within this page, we were to rhetorically analyze three different forms of media pertaining to the chosen case: Documentary, Film/Podcast, and News media from the case. My group decided to analyze the Columbine Shooting and this is the page we created.
My second year at The University of Texas at Arlington I took a data and visualization class, specifically centered around Jay Z. Throughout the course we worked on gathering all different kinds of data and putting the data into some type of visualization in order to make the data easily readable for the viewer. The project that I provided here is the culmination of everything I learned while taking the course. I collected tons of data related to samples used by Jay Z and was able to create the visualization on the right.
